Glance at a company before you spend a pitch
Fifteen seconds tells you whether a company is worth a full pitch, and who to approach there.
How to do it
- Press Glance on any company Prospektor shows you, on Leads for you or in a competitor’s client list. On Research, type a name and press Glance →.
- Wait about fifteen seconds. The score out of 100 appears first; the one reason it fits, signals for and against, and the roles worth approaching fill in under it.
- Want names? Press Name the people →. About a minute later the roles become named people, each with a source.
- Like what you see? Press Prospekt →. The full pitch starts from this score, spends a few minutes on why, and lands in your Library. If the deeper read moves the score, one line under it says what changed.
- Need one piece only? Under What to send, press it, a deck or a one-pager. It arrives in under 90 seconds.
Good to know
- Every glance is kept in your Library, marked Glance.
- When a company runs more than one line of business, the glance says which one it scored.
- Know something Prospektor doesn’t? On Research, add a note under More options › before you glance. The glance says what it made of it.
- A stall, like a contract that runs until next year, lowers nothing; the glance names it to plan around. Nothing readable means no score, and the card says what it needs.
