Keep a company off your list
Name the customers, competitors and people you never want approached. Prospektor stops before it spends anything on them.
How to do it
- Open Settings, then Do not contact.
- To rule out a kind of company, write one rule per line under Standing rules, such as “Mostly remote workforce”. Press Save.
- To rule out one company or person, press Add a company or person.
- Choose A company or A person, say why (Existing customer, Competitor, Asked not to be approached or Other) and fill in the name. Add the website too, since that is what matches.
- Press Add to the list.
Good to know
- A company on the list never shows up as a lead, and a pitch on it is refused before it starts.
- A person on the list is left out of the emails, but their company can still be pitched.
- Customers you name on Ideal customer are added for you.
- Each entry shows who added it and when. Anyone in the workspace can remove one.
