Bring in who you know from LinkedIn
Add the people you know once, and every company you look at shows who could introduce you.
How to do it
- Open Warm intros in the menu on the left. The first time, it is one box.
- The quickest way: type who you know, one per line, with how you know them after a comma. Press Add them.
- For all your LinkedIn connections, press Import a LinkedIn export. On LinkedIn, go to Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data. Tick Connections and press Request archive.
- LinkedIn emails you a download link, usually within ten minutes. Unzip it, choose Connections.csv and press Import the file.
- On the Your network tab, mark the people who will help as Always introduces or Might introduce. Add more lists with Add people ›.
Good to know
- Email addresses in the export are dropped and never stored.
- Each teammate imports their own connections. Only the person who brought an import can remove it.
- Uploading a newer export updates your list without counting anyone twice.
- Gmail or Outlook contacts come in through Import an address book.
